Omschrijving:

Deze PORSCHE 914 2.0 is een eerlijke auto afkomstig uit US. 02-09-1991 kwam deze 914 op NL kenteken te staan. 25-11-2013 werd deze 914 op naam gezet van de huidige eigenaar en hij liet de onderhoud altijd uitvoeren via onze werkplaats VW Airhouse. Hij had deze aangeschaft uit een handel in de omgeving van Berkel -Enschot. De eigenaar hiervoor is ons niet bekend.

Huidige eigenaar heeft meerdere malen rally’s gereden ( o.a. Classicrally van Heeze) en is ook geregeld in de prijzen gevallen.

Tijdens de ritten voor de fotoreportage heb ik er met plezier in gereden. Technisch is dit een betrouwbare 914. Hier en daar wat aandacht nodig. Cosmetisch heeft deze 914 ook aandacht nodig.

Roesplekken zijn aanwezig echter zeer gering. De carrosserie is een harde en gezonde basis.

Dit is een hele fijne “rijders-auto”, dat wil zeggen: instappen, rijden en genieten.

Ook is dit een echt gezonde basis om de 914 weer geheel origineel te maken. De originele kleur Marathon Blue Metallic zou hem weer mooi staan. De codes van motor en versnellingsbak zijn modeljaar juist en derhalve zeer aannemelijk dat het nog de originele motor en versnellingsbak zijn die er vanaf fabriek zien ingezet. ( Matching Numbers)

Description:

This PORSCHE 914 2.0 is an honest car from the US. On 02-09-1991 this 914 was registered in the Netherlands. On 25-11-2013, this 914 was registered in the name of the current owner and he always had the maintenance carried out through our VW Airhouse workshop. He had purchased this from a Oldtimer seller in the Berkel-Enschot area. We do not know the owner for this.

The current owner has driven rallies several times (including the Classic Rally of Heeze) and has also regularly won prizes.

I enjoyed driving it during the rides for the photo report. Technically this is a reliable 914. Needs some attention here and there. Cosmetically, this 914 also needs attention.

Rust spots are present, but very few. The bodywork is a hard and healthy foundation.

This is a very nice “driver’s car”, which means: get in, drive and enjoy.

This is also a really healthy basis for making the 914 completely original again. The original color Marathon Blue Metallic would look nice again. The codes of the engine and gearbox are correct for the model year and are therefore very likely to be the original engine and gearbox that were installed from the factory. (Matching Numbers)
